Ohio 250 - Wyandot County
Upper sandusky will be celebrating the 250th year for the Constitution with many activities! Begin the celebration with the purchase of a special t-shirt, cup, ornament and a picture. All items are available at the Wyandot County Visitors' Bureau office at the Shawshank Building.

April 30, 2026 (Thursday) -Lunch with Chief Friend
April 30, 2026 (Thursday) Activities with the Wyandot Indians including a cultural
exchanged with the schools
May 15 ,2026 (Friday) - Ohio Goes to the Movies - "Shawshank Redemption" will be shown at the
Star Theatre with a panel discussion before the showing
May 16, 2026 (Saturday) - Open House at Shawshank along with the opening of the 1975 time
capsule and 2026 capsule (public recommendations), Frett Mashers,
brochures,and reenactors
June 8 - 10 (Monday - Wednesday) -History Camp for grades 3 - 6 @ Wyandot County Museum
June 14, 2026 (Sunday) - Annual Flag Day Service at the Elks
June 18, 2026 (Thursday) - Thursday night at the Museum - Charlotte Leeth (Lifetime of Changes)
June 27 & 28, 2026 (Saturday & Sunday) - The Visitors' Bureau will be doing guided bus tours
around the county
July 2, 2026 (Thursday) -The Chamber of Commece will be using a celebrate America theme for
the First Thursday
July 3,4,& 5, 2026 (Friday - Sunday) - Wyanstock and Fireworks
July 4, 2026 (Saturday) - Wyandot Fourth of July Parade
July 30, 2026 (Thursday) - Homecoming Picnic with the Council of Aging to be held in Carey
September - The Public Library in Upper Sndusky will be housing the National Holocaust

September - Red, White and Blur @ Wyandot County Fair
November 11 - Veterans' Day by Council on Aging @ Trinity Church
October - Heritage Tree plantin, placing 2026 time capsules @ Bicentennial Park
