Bird Watching

Birding

Many species of birds are attracted to Wyandot County. Some of the rare birds of interest include the cattle egret, bald eagles, fulvous whistling duck, tundra and trumpeter swans, peregrine falcons, king rail, sandhill crane, American white pelican, and American avocet.

Ohio eBird Hotspots marks the best spots in Ohio for birdwatching.  The website includes the time of year for each species that can be seen at a certain location, each species that can be spotted, and directions to each site.
